Augustine G. "Tino" Cisneros, 96, of Kansas City, MO, died Saturday, March 11, 2017 at his home of 58 years. A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18 at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd KCMO. Burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Tino was born December 23, 1920 in Kansas City, MO to Julian Cisneros and Rita (Gonzalez) Cisneros and the brother to seven siblings. He was a WWII Army Veteran and served from 1942 to 1946 in North Africa...

Tino was born December 23, 1920 in Kansas City, MO to Julian Cisneros and Rita (Gonzalez) Cisneros and the brother to seven siblings. He was a WWII Army Veteran and served from 1942 to 1946 in North Africa and Italy where he was wounded and rewarded with the Purple Heart medal.
The year he returned from the war he married Mary Louise (Guerra) Cisneros and began his first job as a bartender. After that he became the beverage manager at the Muehlebach Hotel until his retirement. Tino devoted his life to his family and friends and charmed everyone with his witty humor. Tino had a love for the game of baseball and attended many Athletics and Royals games throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed reading the sports page, watching western movies, and spending time with his family and friends.
Tino was preceded in death by his wife, daughter Alice Hawver, and his son Anthony Cisneros. Tino is survived by his son Lawrence Cisneros (Susan) of Shawnee, KS and daughter Marilou Krech of Leawood, KS; 7 grandchildren including Deborah Hawver Warden (Danny) and Richard Hawver (Modesta). He also had 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren that love and miss him dearly. Condolences may be made at www.mcgilleymidtownchapel.com.
