MARY L. JUAREZ
Mary L. Juarez, 90, Kansas City, MO. passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 with her children by her side. Visitation will be held Monday, May 22nd from 12:00 -1:00 pm at Redemptorist (Our Lady of Perpetual Help) Church, 3333 Broadway, KCMO 64111. Catholic Christian Mass to follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, 2201 Cleveland, KCMO 64127. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Guadalupe Senior Center, 1015 Avenida Cesar E. Chavez, KCMO 64108.

Mary was born Maria Luisa Hernandez on November 9, 1926 in Kansas City, Kansas to Jose Hernandez and Agustina Elizando. In her early twenties she married John Juarez, who precedes her in death (1969). She worked for Swift & Co. for over 40 years. Mary was an active member of the Guadalupe Senior Center for over 20 years. A faithful, devoted parishioner of Redemptorist Church for 45 years. In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by one sister, Esther and two brothers, Salvador and Albert Paiz. She is survived by her two sisters, Nina Rish and Beatrice Coyazo. Mary and John were the proud parents of Rita Swain (Don Swain) of Lexington, KY, Theresa (Terri) Juarez (David Stewart) of Kansas City, MO and Mark Juarez (Lola Juarez) of Kansas City, MO. Mary's greatest joy was found in her grandchildren, Melinda Glidewell, John Juarez, Luke Juarez, Brent Swain and Don Swain, along with her great grandchildren.
